My second Irish language picture book for Futa Fata, written by Máire Zepf and published in April 2020.
Míp is the smartest robot ever built. She’s bound for Mars, to explore and maybe meet some aliens. She sends back lots of pictures, but there no aliens anywhere. Then, disaster strikes...
Can our brave hero survive, all alone? Based on real events, (mostly!), the story of plucky Míp, the hardest-working robot in the solar system, is a tale that will inspire earthlings of all ages.
Little ones will love this "They’re behind you!" tale of a brave little robot that bravely goes where no other Irish-speaking robot has gone before.

To launch the book, both myself and Máire took over Futa Fata's Instagram account for a week, sharing our process, our workspaces, sneak peeks of early sketches and more. We ended the whole week with a live Instagram event. You can view everything over on Futa Fata's Instagram account.
Míp has also been shortlisted for Gradam Réics Carló - the children’s Irish-language book of the year award!
